Free Comic Book Day!

May 2nd is "Free Comic Book Day" - well, actually,
it's the first Saturday in May, which this year
happens to fall on the 2nd. Participating comic
book shops across the country (and from what I
read, around the world) give away comic books FREE
to anyone who comes into their shops. Now, this
doesn't mean that you'll be able to pick up that
Avenger's #2 you've been saving for, as most of the
major comic book publisher's produce a special
edition specifically for today. The point is - take
the family, have fun visiting your local comic book
shop and read your comics!

Will You Give Me A Home?

Mike Murnin and I, for years, have remembered the
"Will You Give Me A Home" ad and would be wheezing
when we spoke about it. But the only difference
from the ad below is that it was a monkey in the
cup, rather than a Chihuahua. Still, this ad is
hysterical!
